Select from premium grade, 60% activity coconut shell carbon or specially impregnated carbons for hard to remove odors. Standard 60% activity carbon effectively removes odors associated with hydrocarbons, tobacco smoke, body odors, cooking and volatile organic compounds (VOC's). Especially impregnated carbons can be selected to remove compounds such as ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, or formaldehyde. Disposable honeycomb panels are designed to be used in applications where low pressure drops and the ease of replacement is a necessity. Panels can be manufactured with a 25, 50, 75, or 100% fill by volume.

Media Modules

Our media modules have been designed to be structurally superior cells. With our superior design, media is held in place, and cannot settle, delivering years of trouble free service. Each cell consists of all welded construction of commercial grade cold rolled steel (CRS), fabricated and welded to exacting standards to ensure proper fit and adequate strength to endure harsh environments. These modules feature a removable metal cover for access to a large refill opening for ease in servicing media when required.

Standard finish of each cell is a black powder coated finish. Both cells are available epoxy coated as an option. Cells can also be constructed of 304 s.s. and galvanized materials. These modules can be made in half size to be retrofitted into existing housing or for your specific applications. Front and side access housings are also available for these modules in any arrangement.

Our side access housings are unique in design and versatility. Being modular in concept they can be bolted together or stacked like building blocks to fill various needs. While in this configuration, all filter tracks will align so the side-loading feature will not be lost. The Carnivore compatible series of side access housings are available in cold rolled steel, galvanized, or stainless steel, with or without doors, at customers option.

The activated carbon filters shall be of the size and quality as indicated on the plans. The filter casing or cell sides shall be of 14 gauge steel to permit stacking the filters one on top of the other like building blocks to form a bank. The filters shall be bolted together and caulked. The casing shall contain removable, refillable trays fabricated of perforated C.R.S. to contain the activated carbon. A one piece removable grid shall be provided for easy access to the trays. The grid shall be gasketed to prevent air by-pass. The activated carbon shall have a carbon tetrachloride activity rating of 60 CTC min.
